Pony Club Rallies

Rallies are an opportunity for members to put into practice all that they have learned, both riding and horse management skills.

Teams are responsible for themselves and their mounts.

Each year, clubs and centers may participate in regional rallies in different disciplines such as:
  • Dressage
  • Show Jumping
  • Quiz
  • Games
  • Polocrosse
  • Tetrathlon

Team competitions in each of the disciplines take place over a period of several days.

Peachtree Farms is in the Mid- South Region, which is made up of 38 other PC groups.

Competitive rallies teach members about themselves, about support and reliance on others, about sportsmanship, and about personal growth.

Pony Club Quiz

Quiz competition is an unmounted competition that tests the USPC members' knowledge in several rounds of questions.

Some questions are to be answered individually and some require the input of the whole team.

Some of the areas that are tested in the Quiz competition are:
  • Horse management
  • Health
  • Veterinary care
  • Equitation
  • Hunting
  • Trailering
  • Biting
  • Spectator sports
  • Rules
  • Safety
  • Nutrition
  • Conformation

We hold study sessions to prepare our members for the questions they will be asked at Quiz as well a year round to improve overall horsemanship skills.
